Life after biopsy

The biopsy went ok. The LA didn’t work as well because my entire breast was inflamed, according to the surgeon who did the biopsy. So, when the extractor went in (four times!), it felt as if someone had stabbed me with a sharp stick. The nurse helped compress the incision spot – I saw the bloody cotton/gauze! I also saw the sample bottle with ‘it’ in it – three to four worm-like strands of tissue.
Ordinary Panadol, no painkillers. So I was sore for one day and pretty much foggy-brained with Panadol. But by Saturday, the soreness was gone.
No strenuous exercise for a few days.
I will see my breast specialist on the 27th October for the results and subsequent treatment.
If you can, just to cheer me up, buy stuff from the Cheer The Author After Biopsy Sale.
